The Teva brand is much easier to take, in my experience, though it isn't quite as strong in effect at the same dose. You may be taking too high a dose. You need to discuss this with the pharmacist or doctor who prescribed it to you as you can have dangerous hypos with glimiperide.<br /><br />Rather than attempt to treat low blood sugars, you need to avoid them. The best way is to cut back on how much you take of the glimepiride.
